Remembrance Day

During Chapel on Friday we remembered those who lost their lives to war. The whole Senior School came together in the Great Hall to for a minutes silence, to sing hymns with the choir and to pray as the names of those from Kent College who died during battle were read out. Year 9 made the special journey to visit the Somme just before Remembrance Day, honouring the brave souls who selflessly gave their lives. They visited Beaumont Hamel, the Sunken Lane, Lochnagar crater, Thiepval memorial and Fricourt German cemetery. |
