Tita returns to KC

Tita came from Italy to work at KC when the school first relocated after the war. During her tour, Tita fondly recalled services in the Chapel, particularly one following the death of George VI in 1952. Whilst in the main school foyer, Tita was introduced to our Chaplain and the pair quickly began speaking in Italian. Francesco, our student Deputy Head of School was passing and on hearing our guests speaking Italian, joyfully joined in with the conversation. It was very heartwarming to witness 2 strangers from within our community converse like old friends. If you would like to return to KC for a tour, please contact alumni@kentcollege.co.uk |
