Frank Mason Tournament
Friday, 31 January 2025

Kent College hosted the Frank Mason Tournament yesterday.

Our 1st & 2nd XI's showcased what it means to be part of a team but sadly no trophy this year for KC.

Congratulations to the 2025 winners, Tonbridge School!

Frank Mason was a pupil at Kent College from 1916 until 1919, enjoying cricket, hockey and tennis. Frank became the Tulse Hill Hockey XI goalkeeper from 1919 and continued playing for the Club until 1947.

He was proud to be a member of the first Old Canterburian Hockey XI in Folkestone in 1936. Frank qualified as a member of the Southern Counties Hockey Umpires' Association and as an international umpire, becoming Secretary and a valued committee member of the Umpires' Association.

Frank served the Old Canterburian Club most loyally, rarely missing a reunion dinner and acting as President in addition to serving on the Committee until 1965. He died in September 1966.
